Maison Aurelia Sanur, Bali - By Préférence

Everything! The bed was extremely comfortable, the linen was luxurious, beautiful thick towels - we loved the turndown service every night. The staff were all so beautiful and friendly. We had a massage at the spa and thoroughly enjoyed it. The pool and spa were clean and a welcome relief from the heat. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choices on the menu. Great location close to everything. They even opened up breakfast early for us as we had an early tour. So very helpful and kind.

This is the second time we have stayed, just love the location. Short walk to the beach and centrally located. Many restaurants to choose from, from your Warungs to 5 star restaurants. Cork restaurant that is part of Maison Aurelia has a great selection of meals to choose from. Our room was very comfortable, had everything we needed. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Love the pool here as it stays cool and never feels like bath water, like some other pools in Bali. Love the small touches like a note left in the evening to say what the following temperature for tomorrow will be and small cakes or biscuits left too. Staff are always friendly and most helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Would definitely stay again if we were to return to Bali. They left welcome chocolates and dessert biscuits in our room which was a lovely touch. The beds were super comfy, the bathrooms although small are nicely appointed. We stayed in the Magnolia suite which has a lounge area between the two bedrooms and was great to have the extra space and sofa's. The balconies overlooked the walls of the next hotel so no view to speak of but we knew that when we booked and we didn't plan on spending time out on them anyway (other than to hang clothes out to dry) so wasn't a problem. Nice pool area, it is in the shade but a welcome relief from the heat. Lovely staff, nothing was too much trouble - we locked ourselves out of our room and the staff had us back in, in minutes. Big & comfy bed, spacious room with a balcony. The room has many lights & electric sockets. The location was great, close to the beach & many shops & restaurants. The scent of the shower gel & shampoo was really good. There was also a water dispenser near the lift where you can refill your water. I like the Friday evening market & live music in the breakfast area. Nice decoration in the room & lobby area.

We liked the rooms which were stylish, exceptionally clean and bright. Rooms were cleaned on a daily basis and staff re-filled our water bottles with drinking water every day. Beds were spatious, we had one double room and one interconnecting rooms, both of them exceeded our expectations. On our first night an M7.1 earthquake shook the whole Bali area. Staff responded immediately in the middle of the night, they kept on assuring people that everything was fine, that there was no tsunami alert etc. It just made us feel safe for the rest of our stay in the hotel. We were assigned parking places for our rented motorbikes charge-free and the parking area was looked after 24/7. Staff were friendly, helpful and really made us feel welcome. The breakfast included with the room rate was phenomenal! I've never eaten such a good food in hotel restaurant. Also try their draft beer and coffee they're serving in their hotel bar. There are a lot of restaurants in the hotel area, but the best one is directly in the hotel itself. I am already planning my second stay in this hotel. A huge thank you to the whole staff for making my family comfortable!
